Nobody Seems to Notice Her

Nobody seems to notice her. She's walking down the stairs, Looking around her casually, Observing the people going by. Yet, nobody seems to notice her. She doesn't even look the type that could be missed, Rocking the electric blue highlights in her pitch black hair Falling straight down to her waist, Thick winged liner framing Those icy blue eyes, Luscious red lips pressed together in thought, A black-on-black combination, clinging, To a body carved in heaven. Black, pointy heels, To top it all off, Seemingly sharp enough to kill a man. But nobody seems to notice her. It's almost like she's a ghost, Passing close enough to people to allure them with her scent, Close enough that their field of vision would fill up with her, And yet, nobody seems to notice her. Intoxicating though be her presence, Chills are traveling down my spine, Because for every check of her splendor, There's something about her that's not quite right. She's casually flicking her hair behind her back, Nails as sharp as a predator's, Causing goosebumps to form on my hands. It makes no sense, She is, after all, just a girl, However out-of-place she may seem. But though I am watching her right now, And there are so many people milling around her, Nobody seems to notice her. I am trying not to stare, While struggling to figure out this mystery, When suddenly, those icy blue eyes look straight at me, Making me take a step back. Those murderous heels clack against the polished floor, As she walks down the stairs, her gaze trained at me. Ashamed I am of my reaction, For when a gorgeous, albeit strange, girl walks to you, You do not, under any circumstances, Let out an unsightly whimper, Like I am. Even then, with the occurrence of a miracle, Of a beguiling woman staring at me, The scrawny boy of 5"8', Nobody seems to notice her. She stops a step away from me, Studying me intently, As though calculating my value to society. Still, nobody seems to notice her. Even when she places a hand on my chest, Just above my heart, Causing a burning to erupt within me, Nobody seems to notice her. It is not the fires of attraction, That have been kindled in me with her touch. It is, quite literally, an anguished burning, Smouldering my insides. I double over in pain, unable to bite back a scream. The people milling around see me, And rush to see if they can be of any assistance. But yet, nobody seems to notice her. And so she disappears quietly among the crowd, As my vision darkens, Still keeping her eyes fixed on me. And, of course, Nobody seems to notice her.
